The colours I have a quite pretty & seem to have a pearlescent finish. The backing is black plastic inside the palette are 2 brushes a sponge & a fluffy ended brush, which I gave to my daughter for her to play with. The packaging is a sleek little compact in a flip top see thru lid with the stickers at top & bottom of the lid stating product shade/name also securely sealing the palette closed until you break the seal which is perforated & continues on to the backing where it has the wet n wild labeling incld img a blurb about the palette, ingredients &barcode.

Appropriately each shade is embedded for its used so it goes browbone, crease and eyelid so good for guidance. Thsee palettes seem t set you up for the whole eye look. I like the palette, but am a little disappointed with the lack of vibrant pop. These shadows are very easily removed, although a wee lingering shimmer is sometimes evident. They last a reasonable time during the day - enhanced by a shadow primer - but not outstandingly so.

They don't have quite the impact of some of my brighter colours in other palettes, but that does make them a little more wearable for work, and they're very pretty. These colours are reasonably subtle but can be built up a bit. Ones a sponge applicator, and the other is actually a brush, but they tend to be a bit blunt and smudgey, and I prefer my usual brushes for precision and blending. Ignore the brushes that come with it - they're teeny. I tend to ignore this a little and use them how I want, but it's a good place to start.Įach shadow is a decent stripe of colour, making it easy to get a brush into. These palettes come in a black case with a clear lid, through which you can clearly see the shadows, which have suggested uses ('browbone' for the white, 'crease' for the teal and 'eyelid' for the plum) stamped on them. I have the palette #332: I'm Feeling Retro, which features a shimmery white highlight, a dark teal shade and a plum shade. I picked my Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio up at a makeup sale, for a few dollars.
